Rainbow Beach - Sunshine Coast

The Sunshine Coast is everything you could want in a holiday destination. Pristine beaches and natural wonders, fabulous attractions and events, award-winning beach rides and one of Australia’s greatest horse riding adventure close by.

The area offers a picture-perfect string of beaches and a lush green hinterland. Discover the great surf spots, pick up some skills at a surf school or just watch the surfer pros in action or kayak the gentle waterways of the Noosa Everglades.

Visit beautiful coastal villages like Tin Can Bay and feed the Dolphins when they come in at 7 am every morning or cuddle a Koala at Australia Zoo.

Pick-up a 4WD and venture out to Fraser Island – the largest sand island in the world. Drive on the 75 kms long sandy beach freeway – an adventure not to be missed. Explore rainforests that grow on sand dunes. Swim in crystal clear Lake McKenzie and with 250 km of white sandy beaches, the choices to laze out on your own stretch of beach are endless. Fraser Island is also home to a diverse array of native terrestrial and water fauna. Chances are that you will see a dingo loping along the beach or a prehistoric looking lizard climbing one of the island’s trees.

And don’t forget to visit Silky Oak Pub in Kia Ora, Goomboorian. Great food, music and people and a pub where you can ride your horse right up to the bar. It does not get more Australian than this!
