The Program

Day 1 Arrival

Thursday afternoon welcomes your arrival. Settle into the spacious, opulent rooms or your own private master suite at the homestead. If you bring your own horse, allocate time to establish your horse’s new abode in one of our paddocks or horse yards. It’s then the time to put on your riding attire and gather with your fellow riders and trainers for a comprehensive briefing. Meet your equine companion, specially selected for your ride before you begin your adventure with an inaugural ride, traversing lanes shaded by majestic gum trees leading to Lake Anne, Mount Williams private lake. Along the way, pass by historic landmarks such as the old woolshed and shearer’s quarters. Return to the homestead for an evening of leisure, savoring drinks on the terrace alongside delectable appetizers overlooking the lush gardens and pool. When the dinner bell rings, join us in the dining rooms for a sumptuous meal meticulously crafted by our talented chef.

Day 2

The day begins with a hearty breakfast, setting the stage for two action-packed days of horseback exploration. Once you’re energized, it’s time to prepare for an exceptional day in the saddle. In the morning, engage with our expert trainer and partake in engaging team activities on the polo field. These activities will serve as a warm-up for the adventure that awaits as you explore 7,200-acres of wonderful horseriding country.

Upon your return from the morning ride, lunch will be served on the terrace at the old stables. In the afternoon, saddle up once more for another unforgettable ride, where you’ll have the chance to encounter cattle along the way. Upon your return to the station, indulge in tantalizing nibbles and refreshing drinks, setting the stage for a gourmet dinner prepared by our culinary maestro. Savor the culinary artistry and flavours that await.

Day 3

As the sun rises over the magnificent Grampians, embrace the opportunity to explore this vast, picturesque land. On the second day of your journey, prepare for an all-day adventure, a gourmet picnic amidst the rolling paddocks. Here, surrounded by nature’s bounty, you’ll savor every bite as you soak in the tranquility of this pristine wilderness.

After this delightful picnic interlude, set off once more on a captivating horse ride. As the day wanes into a stunning sunset, return to the station, where the allure of Mount William beckons. Consider taking a refreshing swim in our inviting pool before indulging in yet another splendid dinner. Our chef, inspired by locally sourced produce, will craft dishes that are a testament to culinary excellence.

Day 4 Departure

Take in the views from the breakfast table before you bid farewell to your equine companion, carrying with you an invaluable treasure trove of memories and newfound equestrian expertise, destined to be cherished forever.
